In “Salvation,” Yordan Kalchev uses his characteristic symbolic language to construct an image of hope and inner liberation. The face, barely hinted at behind a veil of light and shadow, is enveloped in signs and shapes that point to a spiritual journey beyond the visible. Ropes, geometric elements, and bright color accents create a tension between restriction and freedom, between the earthly and the sublime. Clean and contemplative, the work invites reflection on the personal path to salvation – not as an external event, but as an internal state.
