Itsko Maznev was born in 1964 in Plovdiv. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts, majoring in "Graphics" under Prof. Galilei Simeonov.
He is the author of over 20 solo exhibitions at home and abroad and numerous prestigious participations in exhibitions representative of Bulgarian contemporary art. He is the winner of several awards, including the First Prize of the Society of Plovdiv Artists.
Known primarily as an outstanding graphic artist, his name is associated with talent, culture, perfectionism, thoroughness, and intelligence. Not intruding into the media space, his exhibitions are the object of interest of the sophisticated part of society.
His latest presentation is the joint exhibition with Kolyo Karamfilov "Avantage", related to their favorite film of the same name and dedicated to their respect for the great Bulgarian artist Georgi Bozhilov-Slona.
Itsko Maznev died on July 20, 2016 in Plovdiv.
