Kiril Kirov is an artist who builds his own visual world on the border between constructive logic and freedom of imagination. Born in 1968 in Pomorie, he graduated from the Art High School "Acad. Dechko Uzunov" in Kazanlak and over the years has developed an active creative practice between Plovdiv and Nessebar - two cities whose atmosphere is present in his art in different ways.
In Kiril Kirov's works, reality is rarely represented literally. Architectural fragments, figures, symbols and objects are arranged in compositions that are reminiscent of a dream, a memory or a visual riddle. His style combines elements of constructivism and surrealism, and his paintings often create a feeling of a parallel reality in which logic and fantasy coexist.
In addition to painting, the author works actively in the fields of graphics, lithography and drawing. Over the years, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in Bulgaria, and between 1999 and 2008, he developed his own gallery activity in Nessebar, located in a medieval temple-monument of culture - a space that becomes a natural meeting point between history, architecture and contemporary art.
Today, Kiril Kirov continues to actively create and present his works in exhibitions and art projects. His works are in private collections in Bulgaria and abroad, and his characteristic visual language remains easily recognizable - a world of symbols, colors and associations, which invites the viewer not just to look, but to discover their own stories in the images.
