On May 22, the Abris Graphic Gallery opened the exhibition “Engravings” by the established Bulgarian graphic artist Petar Lazarov. The gallery space gathered a large audience – artists, collectors, connoisseurs of graphic art and guests who came to experience the impressive world of engraving. The opening was attended by exceptional interest and lively discussions about the author’s works, and some of the works found their new owners in the first hours of the event. Visitors had the opportunity to view a selection of Petar Lazarov’s characteristic detailed engravings, distinguished by precision, symbolism and strong visual impact. The exhibition will be open until June 12. The finale of the exhibition will be marked by a special event – at 6:30 p.m. Petar Lazarov will demonstrate the engraving and printing process, presenting to the audience the subtleties of the graphic technique and the magic of the hand print. The event is becoming another significant meeting between contemporary Bulgarian graphic art and its audience, and the exhibition at the Abris Graphic Gallery continues to attract connoisseurs and lovers of graphics.
