Yanko Nenov is an artist whose work is deeply connected to the classical values of the Bulgarian graphic school. Born in 1950 in the Yambol village of Knyazhevo, he graduated from the Department of Graphics at the University of Veliko Tarnovo under Prof. Hristo Tsatsinov - training that laid the foundations for a consistent and recognizable creative path.

In Nenov's works, technique is never an end in itself. His graphics impress with precise drawing, mastered composition and attention to detail, but behind them there is always the striving for a deeper meaning. The author draws inspiration from history, spirituality and human memory, creating images that bring a sense of resilience and inner strength. It is this restrained but impactful expressiveness that ranks him among the significant names of Bulgarian graphics of recent decades.

Over the years, Yanko Nenov has participated in numerous national exhibitions and graphic forums, and his works find a place in public and private collections in Bulgaria and abroad. In parallel with his active creative activity, he devotes a significant part of his life to teaching and working with young artists, contributing to the preservation and development of graphic art.

Today, Yanko Nenov remains an author, faithful to the classical graphic tradition, but also open to new plastic searches. His works impress with the rare combination of technical mastery and inner silence - a quality that invites the viewer to a slower and more careful look at the image.
