Elena Savova is among those authors from the younger generation of Bulgarian graphic artists who combine respect for classical techniques with a clearly expressed need for a personal visual narrative. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design "Prof. Asen Diamandiev" in Plovdiv, she chose graphics as her main field of creative research - a medium that allows her both precision, depth and freedom of interpretation.
In her works, nature is often present not as a specific landscape, but as a state. Plant forms, organic structures and fragments of reality become a starting point for images that bring a sense of movement, memory and inner rhythm. Whether working in classical graphic techniques or experimenting with new visual solutions, Elena Savova remains true to her interest in the relationship between man and the world around him.
In recent years, her name has been increasingly present in the exhibition life of the country through participation in joint exhibitions and solo projects. Among them, the cycle “The Nature of Narrative” stands out – an exhibition that reveals the author’s characteristic aspiration to transform the visual image into a story, built through associations, symbols and personal observations.
Today, Elena Savova continues to actively create and develop her artistic language. Her graphics impress with the delicate balance between observation and imagination, between technical discipline and poetic sensitivity – qualities that gradually establish her place among contemporary Bulgarian authors.
