Nedko Itinov is among those artists who leave a lasting mark not only through his works, but also through his bright and recognizable artistic universe. Born in 1956 in Plovdiv, he graduated from the Art High School in Kazanlak and majored in Painting at the University of Veliko Tarnovo under Prof. Alexander Terziev. From the very beginning of his creative path, he chose to follow his own direction, far from fashion trends and easy solutions.

In his works, nature, animals and human figures become part of a special decorative world, built through a characteristic raster, plastic forms and a sense of movement. Antelopes, silhouettes, landscapes and mythical spaces populate his canvases, creating a visual language that is both contemporary and timeless. It is this recognizable imagery that makes Nedko Itinov one of the emblematic figures of the Plovdiv art school.

During his career, he has held more than thirty solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, France, Austria, Turkey, Luxembourg, Israel and other countries. He is the winner of the Plovdiv Prize for Fine Arts, and his works are in numerous private collections in Europe, the Middle East and New Zealand.

A special place in his creative path is occupied by exhibitions in Plovdiv, where each of his new exhibitions becomes an event for art lovers. Over the years, he has remained faithful to painting as a space for freedom, experiment and personal style, consistently developing a world that cannot be mistaken for anyone else.

After his sudden death in 2021, Nedko Itinov's work continues to live on through his characteristic images and color. His paintings carry a rare combination of decorative power and human warmth - qualities that turn every encounter with them into a recognizable and memorable visual memory.
