Emil Mirazchiev was born in 1960 in Plovdiv. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts - Sofia.
He has many completed projects behind him - he is one of the founders of the "Rab" group, author and head of the international project "Graphic Studio - Plovdiv", chairman of the association "Art Today", founder and director of the Center for Contemporary Art - Plovdiv, "Banya Starinna" and "Corridor" gallery. Initiator and director of the international video art festival "Facade" and light festival LUMMIX, Plovdiv. In 2010, initiator of the PESK 2019 project and artistic director in 2013, directly involved in preparing the cultural program of the project.
For some time he worked in graphics, and then he turned to modern forms - installation, and video. His video installation "Let's Bark the Dogs" was bought by the Museum of Modern Art Prague.
Emil Mirazchiev has numerous awards for graphics, and work on paper. As a curator, he made a splash with the exhibition "20 years later", on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of November 10, 2009.
