Vladimir Cukic

Vladimir Cukic was born in 1958 in Haskovo. He graduated from the Art High School in Kazanlak. Disappointed with the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Cukich discontinued his studies, bought a graphic press from Varna, and went to Samokov, where he learned the greatest niceties of graphic techniques from the printers at the SBH lithographic base. During the following years, he actively participated in international graphics biennales, arranged over 25 solo exhibitions in the country and abroad, and won numerous awards. Vladimir Chukic lives far away in the village of Topolchane in Kardzhali.
