Born in 1958 in Haskovo, Vladimir Chukich embarked on the path of art at an early age, graduating from the Art High School in Kazanlak with a degree in "Graphics and Book Illustration". Early in his career, he chose graphics not simply as a technique, but as a space for experiment, storytelling and free movement between reality and fantasy.

In Chukich's works, history, music and mythology often meet in an extraordinary visual world. His images seem to come from dreams - populated with mysterious figures, flying machines, horses, musicians and symbols that carry both a sense of play and philosophical depth. The artist himself admits that he often sees his compositions in his dreams before turning them into graphic sheets. It is this ability to combine mastery and imagination that makes his work one of the most recognizable phenomena in contemporary Bulgarian graphics.

Over the years, Vladimir Chukic has participated in a number of prestigious international graphic arts biennials, including forums in Kanagawa, Japan, Ljubljana, Belgrade and Grado. His works have been presented in dozens of solo and group exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, and his name has established itself as a symbol of virtuoso mastery of graphic techniques - from etching and lithography to screen printing and experimental mixed approaches.

Today, Vladimir Chukic continues to actively create and present new exhibitions, in which graphics and painting exist equally. Regardless of the technique, his works bear the same distinctive feature - the feeling that behind each image there is a story that is never fully revealed. It is this mystery that turns an encounter with his art into a journey to which the viewer invariably returns again.
