Boris Bogdanov is a Bulgarian graphic artist and teacher, mainly associated with the Plovdiv art scene. He was born on January 25, 1957 in Plovdiv. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in 1983 with a degree in Graphics.
He works mainly in the field of graphics, and his style is often associated with expressive forms, symbolism and a strong authorial presence. In addition to being an artist, Boris Bogdanov is also a teacher at the National Art High School "Tsanko Lavrenov".
He has been a member of the Society of Plovdiv Artists since 1984 and is part of the generation of Bulgarian graphic artists who continue the tradition of classical graphics, but combine it with a contemporary techniques.
Over the years, he has had a number of joint and solo exhibitions.
