Stefan Bozhkov was born in 1961, in Panagyurishte, Bulgaria. He graduated from the Art High School in Kazanlak with a major in Fine Art.
He is an artist of archaeological excavations, an assistant artist at BNT, a book illustrator, a graphic and interior designer, and a scenographer. He works and experiments in various fields of visual arts – painting, graphics, sculpture, and spatial installations. He has participated in group and solo exhibitions, symposiums, and creative stays in almost all countries in Europe, as well as in the USA, Japan, and Egypt.
Presents workshops and exhibitions in Women's Prison - Sliven. He is the recipient of the Sofia Award - for excellence in the visual arts, the Golden Feather Award from the International Book and Illustration Biennale, Belgrade, Serbia, as well as several awards from graphic biennials and triennials in Bulgaria and abroad. He works as a freelance artist and is based in Sofia.
