Petar Chinovski is among the most interesting representatives of the younger generation of Bulgarian artists - an author who confidently moves between graphics, drawing, digital media and contemporary visual art, without losing his recognizable style. Born in 1988 in Sofia, he graduated from the University of Veliko Tarnovo with a degree in Graphics, after previously studying animation and visual arts - an experience that leaves a lasting mark on the way he constructs the images and space in his works.

Chinovski's work is difficult to submit to genre definitions. In his compositions, mythology, literature, philosophy and contemporary visual culture intertwine in complex figurative constructions that invite the viewer to active participation. Instead of telling stories in the traditional way, the artist builds visual systems of symbols and associations, in which the meaning remains open to interpretation. It is this intellectual multi-layeredness that turns his works into an experience, not just an image.

From the very beginning of his career, Chinovski attracted the attention of curators and collectors with his participation in a number of prestigious exhibitions and art forums. Among them are the National Autumn Exhibitions in Plovdiv, the exhibitions of the nominees for the BAZA Award and the Art Start project of the Goethe-Institut Bulgaria. He also holds solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and Germany, where he presents different aspects of his artistic pursuits.

Today, Petar Chinovski lives and works in Varna, where he continues to actively develop his practice through exhibitions, experimental projects and new visual research. His art is an example of a generation of authors who freely go beyond the boundaries of traditional techniques, but retain the most important thing - the ability to create images that remain in the mind long after the encounter with them.
